Back-up to FlyLow Ridge Gloves

FlyLow Gear Tough Guy Glove

FlyLow Gear Tough Guy Glove

Rating for this product: 5 December 13, 2011

These are my back-up gloves when I can't find my FlyLow Gear Ridge Leather Gloves. The are definitely like the product name; tough. The Sno-seal treatment helps, but I recommend resealing after each ski season.

FlyLow Gear Ridge Leather Glove

FlyLow Gear Ridge Leather Glove

Rating for this product: 5 December 13, 2011

After you seal the glove with water proofing sealant, these are my go-to gloves for all conditions. The thin interior layers allow for skin-close grip and the thinsulate provides good warmth on those cold days. I don't recommend using these when it's super cold or wet, and it could be consider a more mid/light weight weather glove. Love.

Heck their men's pants, so what?

FlyLow Gear Magnum Pant - Men's

FlyLow Gear Magnum Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 13, 2011

I needed an extra pair of black, durable ski pants for teaching and I've been loving the Flylow Gear Ginger Pant - Women's size large. They didn't come in black so I opted for the men's small. They work perfectly. These are very technical performance pants with plenty of amazing features: internal and external vents, along with side adjustment velco for those skinny and yet fat days. The men's pants rock, only downsides are the zipper is super long and there just aren't enough pockets.

Women's POW Ski at it's finest!

Line Pandora Ski - Women's

Line Pandora Ski - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 14, 2011

I switched over from Moment Pikas and love the Line Pandora ski for inbounds and backcountry in Utah. I got the 172cm as I needed the extra length even though the early rise beckons an amazing pow ride. They are fairly light in weight and adding the Marker Baron's didn't do all that much to the weight overall.

Great AT Binding!

Marker Baron Ski Binding

Marker Baron Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 November 14, 2011

I put these on a pair of Moment Pikas last season for touring out in Utah and found that this lower-weight, wide brakes - free-heel freedom was the perfect purchase. Going forward, I will always go for the Baron's because of the light durability of the binding for all touring. The one hitch is changing from climbing/skinning levels on the heel. You have to get used to using your pole for quick change-over. Other than that, I recommend these for backcountry chicks. I'm 5'6 140...the weight isn't an issue here. Gives you time to focus on the lines you are going to cut, then lugging up the hill burning those calories.

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Women's

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 14, 2011

I needed a new shell for skiing this season and purchased this in a medium (135 lbs., 5"6). It fits perfectly solo, and even combined with the Stoic Synthetic jacket snuggled underneath. The best feature if you use an iPod while skiing, there is an accommodating feature inside for easy access and storage.

Stoic is my best friend...

Stoic Tour Softshell Pant - Women's

Stoic Tour Softshell Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 14, 2011

I needed a new ski pant that had some good inside guards because all my ski pants without a guard I rip up with my skis. The guard on these is perfect: durable and thick. As for the pants, they fit snug, but Stoic tends cater towards a more form-fitted style for women. I'm a size 6/7, 28/29 waist and the medium fit just fine. If you are looking for a roomie pant, do not purchase these.

Versatility is key

Stoic Luft Hoody Synthetic Insulated Sweater - Women's

Stoic Luft Hoody Synthetic Insulated Sweater - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 14, 2011

I wear this jacket whenever and wherever I go; from hiking and walking the dog, to wearing to the gym, and underneath my Stoic Bombshell jacket skiing. I totally recommend Stoic's female fit and design as it tends to be snug and form fitting. The one thing about this jacket is the cool stitch designs break and start to unravel. Other then that, I beat it up and it with-stands the beating.
