Good old Icebreaker

It's been eight years since I brought back my first Icebreaker T-shirt from New Zealand ... and I've still got it and I still use it. The size has shrunk slightly with all the laundries but that is as advertised.
This new one has a slightly looser fit (which I don't like so much, actually, thus only 4 stars) but the lighter quality makes it suitable for warmer conditions (which I like). Comfy to wear and does not smell -- GREAT.

Denali Lightning Ascent (Men's edition) are superbly light, can be easliy fixed even with moderatly thick gloves and don't slip even on hard snow. They remain firmly on the foot even in difficult or steep areas.
We have used them in powder snow (which, in Switzerland, is not quite as fluffy as in the US or Canada), on groomed ski tracks and on hard snow with equal success. Their shape prevents stepping on the other foot's snow shoe most of the time.
The womens' model is 2 cm (0.8in) narrower and imposes less of a John-Wayne walking style on the wearer.
Expensive but great equipment!
