Alpine 5.11 Trekking Poles

Masters 5.11 Trekking Poles - 1 Pair

Rating for this product: 4 June 24, 2005

Great buy for the price. I have used them several times now including a couple of trips up to Camp Muir and they performed as good as any other poles I’ve owned. I have had poles that were much more expensive and were a little lighter but the Alpina 5.11 poles perform just as well. The extendable range is also noteworthy, they really compact down to a very small length.

Arcteryx Vapor

Arc'teryx Vapor Harness - Men's

Arc'teryx Vapor Harness - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2005

Probably the best sport climbing harness I have ever owned. Very comfortable and extremely light weight. The only problem I had was with the elastic strap in the leg loops. I am a big guy (6'4" 210) and my leg barely fits in the leg loop so the elastic made it feel like a turnicate. I just cut it out and now it feels perfect. It's definitely not the harness to use over a bunch of clothes. Also it costs a lot but I think it's worth it.
