The North Face Off Site Computer Bag

The North Face Off Site Bag - 1850 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2007

I need to carry two laptops, a 15-inch Thinkpad and a 15-inch Mac Book Pro. This bag can easily fit both computers, their respective power adapters, mice, Plantronics VoIP headset, 2-10 foot Ethernet cables, a 10 foot cross-over cable and still have room for my iPod, cell phone, Sony Cyber-Shot, all of those associated cables, a small toiletry kit, Passport and travel papers, a Wind breaker/rain jacket and an umbrella with room to spare for other small items. The Off Site bag is the ultimate carry-on for airlines that only allow your computer case.

Snow Peak Trek Combo Set

Snow Peak Trek Combo Titanium Cookset

Snow Peak Trek Combo Titanium Cookset

Rating for this product: 5 January 20, 2006

This set compliments the 450 mug and Trek 700 mug/pot I already owned. All four nest together nicely for a complete set that can be used as a whole set or segmented to suit your needs. In order to increase the heating efficiency, I paint the bottom of the pots with black stove paint. Using a Trangia alcohol stove, I can boil 1 liter of water in calm conditions just less than 10 minutes. Not as efficient as some of my other pots, but I believe that is due to the narrower diameter and taller height of the pots. The height is harder to keep hot when convectional currents cool the pot. For having the versatility of all four mugs / pots, this system is a really nice compliment to my collection.

Siltarp2 - 8X10

Integral Designs Siltarp2

Integral Designs Siltarp2

Rating for this product: 2 February 15, 2005

I like the service your website offers and my ranking should not reflect the service. I am disappointed in the Siltarp2 – 8x10 tarp itself. I was expecting a ridge seam of 10 foot long rather than an 8 foot ridge seam. Integral Designs’ decision in cutting the sections this way does reduce the amount of material needed to make the tarp, therefore reducing the cost to manufacture. However, it also reduces the efficiency of a tarp with the longer ridge seam. With other manufactures charging almost the same for their product with a 10 foot ridge seam, I would be hard pressed to recommend this product to others.
