I am a transplant to the west, drawn out here by the mountains and found rivers to fill all of my seasons with challenges. I have been a professional guide for ten years. A teacher, as well as a student. I try to take the most out of everyday whether its touring in the Wasatch, or biking around town.

This is a great option in the times that your tips and tails are loosing their stickiness. I would not recommend for use with full glue replacements buy the glue renew sheets if that is what you are looking to do. Great for small repairs! ***one extra note if you are having an issue with your glue loosing its stick first try a piece of parchment paper and an clothes iron on medium heat. lay the paper down on the glue smooth side towards the glue. Then iron over the paper. it will smooth out the glue and renew the stickiness.

Great when you let it cool down!

Backcountry Access Aluminum Crystal Card

This card is great! I have used plastic cards for years and finally stepped up to this about a month ago. i find that once the card is cold crystals will last much longer allowing you to get a batter view of what the conditions are like!! This is much more durable than it's plastic counterparts when pushing into icy layers, and works well a a knife measurement in your tests. This card will melt crystals if you take it right out of your pack and try to use it. Let it cool down first!!
