Mammut Smart Alpine Belay Device - 8.9mm-10.5mm

Mammut Smart Alpine Belay Device - 8.9mm-10.5mm

Rating for this product: 3 January 18, 2012

I love Mammut Products. This belay device works really well for belaying, but the only reason i do not give it full stars is the fact that rappelling with this is a lot of work. The autoblock works! Almost too efficiently when rappelling, it takes a fair bit of strength to keep a smooth rappel going. If you only want to use this for belaying, go for it. That is only what I would recommend it for.

Contour ROAM Camera

I was torn between the GoPro and Contour Roam. I have used my Contour for skiing and Rock climbing. the helmet mounts are perfect. The video quality is incredible and is stunning every time. If you want a low profile, sleek, and amazing helmet cam, the contour is for you!

Freestyle USA Killer Shark Watch

Freestyle USA Killer Shark Watch

Rating for this product: 5 August 11, 2011

I switched over to freestyle after I burnt through 3 timex "rugged" watches. I have been nothing but impressed. The watch has lasted a massive snow season with incredibly cold temperatures, summer rafting, and tons of climbing. The band secures really well so you don't have it flopping around. The durability is great, the style looks chic and classy enough to wear in a fairly formal atmosphere. Great product, great price, great buy. I am looking to get 1 or 2 more in different colors.

Mammut Infinity Climbing Rope - 9.5mm

March 6, 2011

Is it worth paying an extra $50 for the duo-dess? Both 70m Duo-dess and SuperDry are Dry treated, and the only seemingly big difference is that the duo-dess makes the mid point easier to find. Any insight?

These have a volume adjuster, but not a mic. If you want a mic you're looking for the FMJ

Flow The Trilogy Snowboard Binding

November 10, 2010

How is the quality of these? I have seen these break easily, but for patrol, need a quality pair with the ease of entrance and speed. Any idea how good the quality is?

Skullcandy Titan Ear Buds

Skullcandy Titan Ear Buds

Rating for this product: 5 November 10, 2010

Guys, look at the price. These are actually cheaper than replacing your piece of crap head phones that apple provides. I travel frequently on planes, buses, trains, etc. The noise reduction is exactly what one needs. Enough to forget about the surrounding world, but be conscious of the world around you. Use the provided different sized buds to find the best fit for your ear. The better the fit, the better the sound, the better your music. For size and price 10's all the way around. The volume adjust is helpful when music volume levels vary or in an environment with changing volumes. I have never had an issue in the year of use. I have yet to blow them out, or have a problem with tangling or tearing. To get the right seal, you have to find the right size of bud (provided 3 different sizes + case) and the sound will be great. You will love the product for the price.
