I love the pow! I wish I was better at getting hurt in the park, but I'm too old for that. I can do the baby stuff but that's it. What really gets me up in the morning is 2 feet of fresh pow that I can frolic in :) I love riding in between the trees and going off bounds at my favorite resorts :) My next venture is to do some backcountry riding. Can't wait :) Two words: split board :)

Best boots ever!!

ThirtyTwo Lashed Lace Boot - Women's

ThirtyTwo Lashed Lace Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2012

I picked these boots up originally last year (the 2010 model in teal) at my favorite resort because I was so sick of my old boots. My old boots made my toes numb, i had heel lift, and did not have any stiffness or stability. When I tried on last years Lashed model, i instantly fell in love. Unfortunately they were stolen out of my car right before x-mas this year :( So I knew I had to get the exact same boots. There are just as awesome! I love the way the tongue velcros into the liner, it just hugs your calf and prevents heel lift. The inner liner has a great lacing system that is super easy to lace up and unlace when you need to get your foot out. I never have trouble getting in or out of them. They are also stylish :) I opted for the regular laces (instead of the fast track) just because it's a proven system that IMO is less likely to malfunction and takes a few seconds to fasten. These provide stability but are not too stiff. My toes never get numb anymore!!

Oakley Sethmo Jacket - Men's

December 29, 2011

hey do you know why the cinder orange on the oakley site has a black zipper http://www.oakley.com/products/sethmo-jacket/411500OEUEUA-79T and you guys have the one with the white zipper? Are there different models of the same jacket? I know it's a minor difference but it kinda changes the look.

Beautiful and functional

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell One-Piece Suit - Men's

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell One-Piece Suit - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2011

I just got my Nabbi size S one piece suit. It is beautiful! The colors pop, it fits great (XS might have been slightly better fit but as you don't carry it, I will live with the S). I can't wait to try it out on the snow. Super light weight and I can feel that it breathes well. Love the gaiters for the hands to keep the snow out. I just really love everything about this suit! Great for a girl!

Pretty, but wide hips

Peak Performance Heli Alpine Suit - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 22, 2011

This suit is beautiful. However (and you can't tell this from the site photos), the hips are shaped a bit like a pear and made my hips look huge. I would have liked a more straight cut at the hips. I am 5'5 and 150 lbs. So maybe someone who is a bit slimmer would fit better. Other than the hip area, I thought it fit really well. I tried it on with a hoodie and long underwear and it still fit nicely. I also think some people who like those features accentuated may love this suit :) Overall a beautiful suit, but I'm going with a men's/unisex onesie next :)
