Merrell Oslo Waterproof Boot - Women's

Merrell Oslo Waterproof Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 26, 2009

I bought these boots for everday mom errands. I normally wear a 7.5-8 - the 8 fits great unless I'm wearing really heavy socks. I did not treat them and they have worn into a 'rugged' leather look in about two months of constant wet snow/rain wearing. I have a very high instep and I'm pregnant with #2 so Uggs and other smiliar were not an option. These have been comfy and my back has no complaints. I've been really happy with these - they are a little clunky almost like a duck boot - the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars.

Commuting dad

Timbuk2 Pro Series Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Pro Series Messenger Bag

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2007

I bought this for my husband's commute which grew substantially when we moved out of the city. Now he carries all his gadgets, books and music in this stylish pack instead of an old beat-up backpack. He really likes the size as it is scaled to hold more items, has an organizer, and looks great against his 6'5" tall build when most bags look like a kids school bag.

Marmot Tamarack Jacket - Women's

Marmot Tamarack Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 3, 2005

I hate the cold, but I've moved back north after 8 years in VA and needed a warm coat for everyday and for upcoming ski trips to VT and CO. This coat paired with the Marmot windy ridge fleece is great. I'm very happy with my purchase after two successful long weekend ski trips and some very cold weeks at home. It arrived quickly and looks great on, not at all puffy and gaudy like the ski coats of my teenage years. I recommend not zipping in a fleece when skiing so you can access the great inside pockets on this shell.
