Great layer.

Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover - Women's

Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 1, 2009

I have used this more than my TNF fleece because it is warmer and easier to pull on - (and I love my TNF fleece too). But for backcountry and camping, the ease of stretch was the determining factor for deciding which one to bring with me, and I've not been disappointed. I'm a bit over 5'5", 130#, 34Bish, and the Small works well for me over layers (such as the Patagonia Mesh bra, a thin UA T-shirt, and a capilene 2 longsleeve), or in town I can wear it over a strappy tank for coverup and still looks cute. Buyer beware that the front half-zip is slightly off-center (it drove me nuts in the store when I was trying them on for size)- which actually works awesome when you need to layer another jacket over it (like the R3 or more) for more warmth when it's below freezing out.

Patagonia Active Mesh Bra - Women's

August 1, 2009

I did use mine with a 3500cu.in. (Gregory) pack at between 45-50 lbs. for 1 wk - bra was fine. ...had more problems with the waistband digging in at that weight...thought my collarbones did get a little sore at exactly bra-strap points but I get that with any bra.

Best bra for outdoors long-term wear!

Patagonia Active Mesh Bra - Women's

Patagonia Active Mesh Bra - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 1, 2009

Out of all the bras I've tried over the years, this is my favorite so far. I bought an extra one just in case, but ended up only using the one I had on for a 7 day Utah backpacking trip. It's breathable, quick to dry, seamless, moves with me perfectly -once I got the right size. I normally get size S because I'm 34Bish but I found the straps too constricting for my tennis player/climber shoulders/back. The Medium fits like a dream over my shoulders/back and the fabric still smells decent after weeklong camps. This bra makes me feel good. and hardcore. :)

Patagonia Capilene 2 V-Neck Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Patagonia Capilene 2 V-Neck Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 31, 2009

I love this shirt. Wore it over a thin UnderArmour T-shirt for a week-long canyon backpacking trip in Utah and found it the most comfortable and easy-to-layer long sleeve I've ever had. Moves well with me through hiking, climbing, running, frisbee, biking, and right now just bumming around getting ready for bed. I got the XS after trying on different sizes because it fit better, though I usually wear a small (4-6) in other shirts. Longer in the back so less peek-age, and I chose the v-neck because it's easier to get on and less constricting than the regular crewneck. Did I mention I love it? Love it. I'm here for more colors that I can't find in stores.

Nice except when you're bloated

Patagonia Sol Patrol Short - Women's

Patagonia Sol Patrol Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 July 13, 2009

These are a fairly decent pair of shorts, nice material - not too abrasive & tough enough for wear and tear, great for water, moves well. Except on the occasional days when I'm bloated and not feelin' it, then the crotch rides up a bit. Otherwise I'm liking them so far. And FYI the orange color is very orange. :-)
