Stomping Grounds:
I Live in Squamish and Whistler which is The Outdoor Capital of Canada. -
Bio:
I have been living in Whistler for 18 years. Got to ski over a 100 days every season, even the bad ones. When I arrived in Whistler, I worked as a ski instructor and ski coach. Few years later Dynastar picked me up as there international athlete. Competed in the Winter X-Game and other big air freestyle comps all over the world.
Now I'm a Salomon athlete in Whistler, BC.
I have been skiing on Salomon skis the last 3 years. I love how the ski world is taking off with new innovations,
technologies and skier pushing the limits.

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski
November 9, 2011
I'm one of the lucky ones to have the Salomon Rocker2s last year, it's on season 2 with me. It still has a lot of pop and very stable at any speeds. I've put in a 100 days on them last year and I still love these skis.

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski
October 13, 2011
I'm a old school skier and mounted it on the back line. After a few week I decided to move the mounting point to centre and I love it! The skis got a lot more playful and easier to throw them around.
Mounted towards the front line or 1 inch back of the front line. What ever you decide the ski will perform for you. Enjoy the skis!

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski
October 5, 2011
I will tell you what I know about 184cm Salomon Rocker2. I was one of the lucky dudes to ski on this last season.
-It has a quick swing weight because of the honeycomb tip & tail.
-Salomon's Rocker is built into the mold. Not bent after the ski is made.
-Ski tip doesn't chatter at high speeds like other skis.
-Wood-Core.
-Pulse pad: Rubber along the edges to you a smooth ride.
-Thicker edges than most skis.

Salomon Czar Ski

Hi Brennan,
I have put 60 days on the new Salomon Rocker 2 and skiing on 184cm. This ski is:
-Lighter(swing weight)
-Stable at speeds
-Easy to turn
-Low tip profile which allows you to cut through the snow instead of plowing it.
-The ski come out of the mold rockered and when I run my hands a long the base of the ski I do not feel the kink. This gives the ski a smooth ride.
This will be the most popular ski for next season and check out Mike Douglas carve this ski

Salomon Dumont Ski
November 2, 2010
Hi RossFr23,
Sorry for the late reply but you have made a great choice. The ski will be more bomb prof than most skis out there because ot the edge armor. I suggest mounting your binding on the forward line for park. This will make the ski lighter, easy to jump on and off rails. Lighter bindings will help reduce weight, like a Salomon STH 12 bindings.

Salomon Shogun Ski
October 25, 2010
Hi col4128124,
My advice to you is stick with 173cm. You liked the 175cm Guns but the 173cm Shoguns is wider and rockered. Skiing pow and turnning in the trees is going to be easier.
Cheers, vuperman.

Salomon Shogun Ski
October 19, 2010
Hi BlackSundayz, I skied on Dynastar 6th Sense & the Salomon Guns last season in a ski test. You are right they are both great skis. I would choose the Shogun because it has a slight weight anvantage (lighter) without losing performance. You can throw it around in tight chutes and charge it at fast speeds. It's also evironmentally friendly with the Bamboo core =]
