The North Face Lightweight Running Quarter Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2008

is more fun, but that's not really a fair fight! These socks are great, super light and they dry quickly! They also keep their stretch and feel longer than most socks i've ran and rode in! Warning, if you're planning on picking up a pair you might as well just buy a bunch and save on the shipping!

The North Face El Cap Pullover - Men's

The North Face El Cap Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2008

This pullover can do it all. Great on its own or used as a layering piece. Also great for cool weather runs or bikes as well as looking good enough to wear out on the town. Overall a great shirt. Only one complaint... the sleazes could be a bit longer!

Excellent and Versatile!

The North Face Recon Se Backpack - 1830cu in

The North Face Recon Se Backpack - 1830cu in

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2008

This is the perfect day pack whether you're strolling around campus or hiking through the woods! The laptop sleeve and back panel construction protect a notebook better than most backpacks and the main interior is large enough to stash all your books or plenty of gear and food. Best of all, i've been using this backpack for more than 3 years and it's still going strong!

Chill... in more ways than one

The North Face Momentum Fleece Jacket - Men's

The North Face Momentum Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 7, 2008

TNF momentum jacket gets one and half thumbs up (and yes you can put up exactly one and a half thumbs). It's great on it's own for spring or fall days when the temps aren't going to break through the mid 40's and it's flex and cut make it superb for cold rides or runs. The only problem is, on windy days, if you're not breaking a sweat, and you're just bummin' around town or campus, the wind cuts right through it giving you the shivers... then again goosebumps and an instant hot cocoa and schnapps yearning aren't the worst feelings in the world!

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Reef Fanning Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2008

These sandals are great! They are much more comfortable than most other sandals (reef included) and while cleaner bottle openers abound when your at the bar or your keys are close by but when your canoing across the lake or camping in the backcountry it comes in very handy!

Decent but...

The North Face Jester Backpack - 1850cu in

The North Face Jester Backpack - 1850cu in

Rating for this product: 2 November 7, 2008

Like most TNF products this backpack is well made and gets the job done. That said, in my opinion its more than worth the extra 30-40 bucks to pick up a pack like the recon or hotshot if you're set on a north face pack! Best piece of advice to consider when buying gear, spend the extra coin for something that is of better quality and you really like and will use for many, many years!

firelight lights my fire

Marmot Firelight Jacket - Men's

Marmot Firelight Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2005

I picked up this fleece about a month ago and forgot about most of my other ones. It's perfect during any sort of outdoor aerobic activity because of the generous sized pit zips. Its versatility makes it a great pick up. It's warm enough to use as a jacket when it's warm and is also fitted perfectly to wear under an outer layer. Also, who can complain about the price?
