The North Face ST Apogee Jacket - Men's

The North Face ST Apogee Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 15, 2007

Guys, the jacket's very warm and windproof and you could tow a car with it but, if you get caught in really wet snow for a couple of hours, the jacket will be soaked...along with you.

Oakley Half Jacket XLJ Sunglasses - Polarized

Oakley Half Jacket XLJ Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 May 5, 2006

My first pair was stolen. They were so good I bought another pair. Great on the water, great driving, nearly perfect optics. My daughter's a lifeguard and I bought her a pair. She worships them. Worth the money!

Mountain Hardwear Offwidth Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Offwidth Softshell Jacket - Men's

The jacket appears to be okay, however, the sizing runs a half to full size smaller than most.

Tremendous skiing, light on snowboarding

Teton Gravity Research Dream On DVD

Teton Gravity Research Dream On DVD

Rating for this product: 4 February 23, 2006

I'm glad I bought this and I'm a snowboarder but, don't be fooled—it's not half and half—it's about 80% skiing and 20% boarding. Still, incredible rides in incredible places make for worthwhile investment.

The North Face Mountain Pant - Men's

The North Face Mountain Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2006

These are the best pants I've ever owned. With a silkweight Capilene long john, they've kept me warm enough at -12C. They breathe well when it's hot and kept me dry in a rainstorm. Gore-Tex XCR is worth it; don't buy anything without it and North Face always makes quality boarding/skiing gear.

Very light

Patagonia Sage Burner Shorts - Men's

Patagonia Sage Burner Shorts - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 30, 2005

These shorts are very light and dry amazingly fast. The liner is soft and should never cause chafing. No pockets is the only complaint.

Patagonia Capilene Silkweight T-Shirt - Mens

Patagonia Capilene Silkweight T-Shirt - Mens

Rating for this product: 5 May 30, 2005

These shirts are awesome. I use the long sleeve version for base layers when snowboarding. They insulate well and wick extremely well. The short sleeve versions are great for extremely hot summers. Wearing them in Guam was awesome...no sweat while everyone was dying.

Bullet-proof

MSR Lightning Ascent

MSR Lightning Ascent

Rating for this product: 5 April 25, 2005

This is a very warm coat and virtually waterproof. The fit is slightly small but, with the other reviews, I ordered right. I think the coat should last about 78.3 years - with my 35-40 days riding per year. I love it. Can't wait for next year's really cold days!

Almost great

Scott High Voltage Six Goggle

Scott High Voltage Six Goggle

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2005

In severe conditions, some fogging occurs and when very cold they don't fit totally flush. Still, very comfortable and better than any I've used before.
