Is this tent roomy enough to sit up and write in my trail journal, or is it more like a bivouac?

Ibex Woolies Bottom - Men's
April 20, 2011
I'm 5'7" 140 and the smalls are a bit tight on the waist and a tad long on the leg. So i would probably suggest a medium for you. Hope this helps, I know its a few months late for you but i couldn't see a question go unanswered on backcountry.

Mountain Hardwear Integral Zip Top - Long-Sleeve - Men's
April 18, 2011
It's sort of between a loose and a tight fit. It is meant to hug the body, but it certainly does not grab you like UnderArmour does.

Marmot Zeus Down Jacket - Men's
April 18, 2011
Actually i think Marmot is selling themselves short with putting this jacket at 15 onces. I weighed it before putting it into my pack, because I'm a big ultra light enthusiast, and I got 14.6 onces.
