The REI flash 18 is a great pack for side trips and summit sprints. It is big enough for my 10 essentials and camera gear. plus it turns inside out to make a little stuff sack.

Lafuma Ice Scream Backpack - 2135 + 915cu in

August 23, 2010

I've never heard of the Lafuma brand until today. How dose the quality and durability compair to the top name brands (e.g. mammut, gregory, Arc'Teryx, ect.) As well as padding, breatheability, balance, and the ability to carry technical gear comfortably. I'm looking for a good multi day winter alpine/mountaineering pack. Also, it would be nice to actually be able to see how the day pack attaches on the large pack. Thank You
