This stove Rocks!!!

Brunton Vapor All-Fuel Stove

After owning the Brunton Bantam stove, this stove is light years ahead. Much sturdier, easier to light, and simmers great. This stove Rocks! I just use white gas, so I can't speak on using a canister with it, but, it works very well with white gas. Besides, no empty cannisters in the landfills. I would recommend to any serious backpacker for weight, packing ease, and reliability.

I wrote this question last Oct. but here we go again! I'm still having issues with being able to simmer on this stove. You are either boiling or the flame is out. Any other ideas anyone, please?!!

I recently carried my new Bantam for a week of backpacing in Utah and was unable to get a simmer out of it. It worked great at full throttle, but nothing lower.Also, when preheating the unit before each use, I had a huge flame. Has anyone else had these issues?
