Best socks I own - I mountain bike and trail run in them - they're not worn looking, they don't smell (I even left them wet and muddy in a bag for 2 months and they washed up clean and nice). They completely cover your ankles so you look retro tough.

Salomon XA Comp 3 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Comp 3 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 November 7, 2008

I bought this shoe for trail running - but returned it after a couple weeks as it is just a bit too heavy and stiff for "real" running. If you're looking for something to stomp around in the woods this would be perfect with its waterproofness, serious tread, and high-tech lacing system (bombproof and user-friendly)

Inov 8 Flyroc 310 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Inov 8 Flyroc 310 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

I've had these shoes for two years and they are still going strong. They have taken me over lava fields in Hawaii and through muddy trail runs. Love these shoes - but because of their really wide toe box, they can feel a bit loose up front if you're really trying to rip it down fast steep trail. I consider these the do-it-all trail shoe - but if you're looking for something to wear to drop 6 min miles over rolling terrain look at one of the other Inov-8 products (Great company)

Arc'teryx Covert Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

This is really not an outwear piece - but is great for lounging around in the winter. Don't expect it to protect you from the wind. Go with the Gamma softshell if you really want a technical outwear jacket.

they run pretty true, if anything maybe a tad bit long, but not really. get your size. Agreed, this shoe fits true but a bit long.

Inov 8 Flyroc 310 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

November 6, 2008

Not much support in these at all - if you have flat feet you'll feel a bit "floppy" in them. I've run a couple of trail races in these but they are better for fast-hiking, stomping around in the woods or desert and canyoneering (I'm of the school that doesn't believe in waterproof shoes for this activity), or just running around with the dog in the park.

Arc'teryx Gamma AR Softshell Jacket - Men's

November 6, 2008

I'm 5'10 and 170 (41" chest) and the Large is perfect for me as this product is definitely an outerwear piece. I can wear this jacket from 25 deg F with a mid weight wool sweater underneath to 60 deg F with a t-shirt and it still fits and looks like a dream.

Good fitting sock - I appreciate the 3/4 height - good for trail running and mountain biking. Have only worn them a few times - will update this after 6 months of wear.

Sugoi Device Short - Men's

Nice looking shorts, but the drawstring waistband doesn't really work for these shorts - especially since they run big in the waist. Not my favorite Sugoi product.
