Katadyn Vario Dual Technology MicroFilter

Went on a 6 day trek in WY. This unit failed after about 10 liters. The dual pump head seals failed and it would not pump any water. I always used a clear running source, but the odd-shaped piston system seemed to have problems holding pressure and therefore moving water. Fortunately, there were two others carrying different brand pumps in our group. I returned the Vario to the store as for a refund soon as I returned.
