The back of the bag is stiff for the laptop. Over time though, the rest of the bag will loosen up. I thought the same thing when mine first arrived.

A great backpack all around

I bought this backpack for traveling and I wanted one that had a lot of space. So far, it has been great. I use it for school and for travel. It works great as a carry-on when flying so that I don't have to pay for a checked bag. I love the laptop space for it. It is very padded on the bottom so that your computer doesn't get damaged. I hope this will last me as long as my other backpack.
