The tarp is no frills, and I love that. It's a perfect fabric, lightweight, super packable, and very large.

You do have to seem seal the center, and it does come with sealant. I realized upon taking it out for the first time, that it was a little harder than I thought...I missed some sealant in the center.

Also, it doesn't come with any rope. For the price, I wish they'd fix you up with some string.

I haven't been rained on yet, but when you look at the fabric, you can tell it will be waterproof, and that this is a quality product.
