KEEN Newport H2 Sandal - Men's

KEEN Newport H2 Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2006

I was expecting to use this sandal/shoe for sailing this summer. However, it has proven to be the perfect approach shoe for climbing. Everyone else wears sandals. The H2s are better because they protect your toes. There is a lot of scree on most approaches and these do a great job of protecting da feet.
But they get pretty stinky if you wear them a lot, but everybody should be getting there shoes stinky.

Goodbye Velcro

Black Diamond Telekneesis Kneepad

Black Diamond Telekneesis Kneepad

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2006

The best attribute to these knee pads is that they don't have and velcro. Velcro sticks to the inside of your ski pants. These knee pads are very well designed. They are the next level up.

Smith Anthem Regulator Spherical Series Goggles- Women's

Smith Anthem Regulator Spherical Series Goggles- Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2006

These goggles were terrific and I got so many compliments on the style and color. They were extremely comfortable, and I never had to adjust them once I positioned them correctly. They never fogged up. On cloudy days, I could also really still see the contour of the snow which made skiing more enjoyable. Thanks, they were great. Chris

Giro 9.9 helmet

Giro Nine.9 Helmet

Giro Nine.9 Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2006

The helmet was very functional. I thought it was lightweight and comfortable. It was easy to take out the vent plugs. I used it while on a trip to Italy. It helped me to conquer the Sellaronda. A magnificent ski adventure in the Dolomites of Italy.

Teton Pass - Represent

22 Designs Hammerhead Telemark Binding

22 Designs Hammerhead Telemark Binding

Rating for this product: 4 February 21, 2006

Pros-
* Adjustable cable setting for touring and skiing
* Heel riser is lifted, for quick and easy adjustment
* Shoe horn, to help get fitted in the bindings quicker

Cons -
* It seems like there is a lot of time management with these bindings.
* It is very odd to get used to one centric spring, rather then two cartridges
(they take the Cannondale shock approach to skiing)

Black Diamond Carbon Fiber Ski Poles

Black Diamond Carbon Fiber Ski Poles

Rating for this product: 5 February 21, 2006

As a tele skier, I adjust my pole length a lot between hiking, touring, and skiing. The flick lock is the fastest and most efficient means for adjusting a pole and the thing can with stand pressure.

Smith Method Sunglasses

Smith Method Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 4 February 21, 2006

These are practical sunglasses that work great. Go crazy with the style (choose a crazy color), but the size and fit are for a medium size face.

Bird is the Werd!

Rossignol Sick Bird Telemark Ski

Rossignol Sick Bird Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 15, 2006

This is my one and only ski. It takes care of me on the groomers and it keeps me afloat in the POW, bro. For my Telemark style, I like a stiff ski that can absorb the shock of any mogul or barricade. The Sick Bird is definitely a stiff ski. Thus, we make the perfect couple. I love these skis and I haven't even told my girlfriend that I love her.
