Armada JJ Ski
November 1, 2010
Yes. If your going to be skiing them in the west it might be a little better to go with the 185. They ski a lot shorter than a 185 because they have a lot of rocker. With the turn radius at a shockingly small number of 12 m then turning should be absolute no problem. When your skiing those steep bowls the 185 will be nice because stability

Salomon STH 14 Driver Ski Binding
October 28, 2010
It's too bad these don't come with a 130 mm break option. Could i stretch out the 115 mm breaks to the 2011 atomic bentchetlers? They are 123 under foot.

You probaly would want a 178 with rocker. Or a 1680-172 without rocker.

Armada JJ Ski
October 1, 2010
The bent chets. Both of them ski amazing. Choosing between these would only be because of personal preference towards a stiffer ski or your depending on your weight. The JJ's have a smaller turn radius, but the bent chet's can turn amazingly short. Skiing the 183 chet would be pretty close to skiing the 175 jj because the jj is a stiffer ski than the chetler. The bent chetler would be a little better for skiing crud and powder. Both of them are amazing for stomping cliff's because of the two point contant you'll land nice and centered not going over the handle bars.

Atomic Bent Chetler Ski
September 20, 2010
Yes. This ski is the best ski on the market or the armada JJ's. The thing thats unique about these skis is that they have a flexy part of the ski underfoot. Which gives it a more playful feel to the ski. Then the tail and tips are a stiff. It makes it so you can have great high speed skiing with good stability. Since its fatter it'll ski amazing in the crud and the powder! What makes it the one ski quiver is that there is a lot of rocker on the ski and it touches the snow at two points. The two point contact ski makes skiing groomers amazing. The ski has all the other nice ski's have including rocker and taper and camber. They are also insanely light. This ski or the JJ armada are the best skis on the market.

For your height and weight you should go for a long length probaly 192 for a stiffer ski. You would ski much better on that.

Atomic Bent Chetler Ski
September 15, 2010
I'm around 5'8 120 pounds also. I'm going to buy these skis soon and 172 and 183 difference for a ski is almost no difference. I'm also an andvanced skier and with the amount of rocker these skiis have will make the ski ski shorter than normal. Yet the two point contact with the rocker makes it so after your done skiing the pow you can go and ski the hardpack greatly. These ski will ski 183 in the powder which you would want a longer ski in the powder. What makes this ski and the armada Jj's unique is that it has different flex in the tail, middle, and tip. The tail and tip are stiffer for when you going fast and since your pretty light like me the flexy part underfoot makes the ski better for lighter people. My reccomndation would be to buy this ski before it goes out of stock.

I'm about 5'7 and 120 pounds and charge Jackson hole with a 172 bacon. 10 cm does not make much of a difference so you can't go wrong between a 172 or a 182

Atomic Nuke 130 Ski Boot - Men's
September 11, 2010
I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and I'm wondering if these boots or the atomic tracker 130 int would be better. I like my boots tight as hell and stiff for sending it at Jackson. I do a few big hikes and snowmobile ski things in the spring. Wich boot would be better?

Oakley Alps Jacket - Men's
September 10, 2010
I'm around 5"8 and got a medium. It was down to my thighs and was pretty damn fat and loose. Too much for me but if you like them big then go with a large. It'll go down to your thigh's maybe a little lower and be more roomy even though the medium's way roomy enough if you under 200 pounds.

DAKINE Pro 2 Backpack - 1600cu in
August 28, 2010
This pack is the most comfortable pack you can ask for while hiking. It is light weight, but still many features/pockets to it and can hold enough of your gear. I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and hiking here means its very important to be able to stay balanced while hiking on a ridge line or on top of huge cliffs this pack holds your balance perfectly even with powder skiis over 125 underfoot. Buy this pack it's the best dakine has to offer.
