Great bag, nice features

This has kept me warm through three seasons in New Hampshire (I tried it once in a cabin in the winter and was cold all night). It's light and compresses well. My favourite feature is the foot zipper. It's great to be able to vent heat in the summer and you can walk around a bit with this on if it's cold and you don't want to get out of the bag.

Great pants, fit small

The North Face Horizon Utility Pant - Women's

The North Face Horizon Utility Pant - Women's

I found a pair of these on sale and took them backpacking through Costa Rica. They're fantastic. Unlike most hiking pants, these are actually flattering and something I wear regularly. They're really comfy and dry quickly, with a fairly low rise (at least on me). The zippered pocket is great for travelling and hiking. They've held up to every hike I've put them through so far. I agree that they fit small, though. I'm usually a 6 and the 8 is a bit tight.
