North Face Resilience shoe

The North Face Resilience Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 19, 2006

Great shoe - great price, lightweight (good air flow to the foot) and easy to walk or run in. The only drawback is that they seem to run a half-size larger than what you order (my normal foot size is 12 - should have ordered 11 1/2), but it is not something I can't deal with.

The North Face Caber Hybrid Pants

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2006

I bought a pair of industry blue colored pants 2 years ago and have had great success with them while climbing in the ice gullies of Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. I just recently purchased a black colored pair and used them 3 weeks ago at Frankenstein cliffs. The pants performed magnificently. They are warm (with light insulated underwear), they stand up to abrasion very well, breathe well, and seem to be water repellent. One of the main things I enjoy about them is the internal gaiter which saves me from having to wear an external gaiter which with me causes a lot of heat build-up and condensation.

The North Face Winter Gaiter GTX

Rating for this product: 5 January 17, 2005

I recently had the chance to use the GTX Gore-Tex Gaiter while making the hike up to Mt. Yonah in Cleveland, GA. and while hiking the area around Tallulah Gorge, GA. The GTX Gaiter performed flawlessly traveling through scree, brush, ice and wet conditions. When used with the North Face Ultra GTX trail running shoe nothing seemed to penetrate it. I was very pleased with the overall performance of both the gaiter and the shoe. The biggest plus - I stayed dry
