Fast and nimble

Atomic Big Daddy Alpine Ski

Atomic Big Daddy Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2007

I found this ski to be a blast in trees, steeps and tighter spaces, it's nimble and easily smearable, but it still rips at speed in more open spaces. In real deep stuff the sweet spot is a bit small, you need some speed to get the tips floating. It's skiable everywhere, but ideally need 10-12"+ pow to make it worth it.

My new favorite goggle

Smith Prodigy Goggles

Smith Prodigy Goggles

Rating for this product: 5 January 25, 2005

Great goggle, comfortable, has great field of vision, love the fact that you can close the vents to keep the cold wind off your eyes and face. Also, according to Smith, double lens is completely sealed unlike some other goggles. I also have Oakley Wisdom which fogged between the double lens, Scott and Bolle, and like this goggle better than all of them. I got the gold-lite lens which is a great for flat light.
