Nalgene Wide Mouth Tritan Bottle - 32oz

Nalgene Wide Mouth Tritan Bottle - 32oz

Rating for this product: 4 January 12, 2012

This bottle is great for everyday use. If you may need to put ice in it go with this one. Otherwise I like the narrow mouth better.

Nalgene Narrow Mouth Tritan Bottle - 32oz

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2012

I doubt that Nalgene really needs a review, but incase you didn't know...these bottles are awesome. Nearly indistructable and great for the trail, camp, the office ( if you have to be there) and any where else you may go. I don't leave home with out it.

Great around the Camp

Gerber Sport Axe II

Gerber Sport Axe II

Rating for this product: 5 January 10, 2012

This little guy takes up very little space when packing and is worth it's wieght around the camp. The handle is light and well shaped and the head is well wieghted with out being clumsy making it a natural for chopping wood. The grey coating on the head starts coming off after a few uses but it works just the same.

Metolius Climbing Tape

Rating for this product: 4 January 9, 2012

This stuff is only like $4 and you'll be glad you got tape meant for climbing when your hands don't look like they got run through a cheese grater at the end of the day.

Great Skin saving work out

Metolius Wood Grips Compact Training Board

Metolius Wood Grips Compact Training Board

Rating for this product: 5 January 9, 2012

I love this thing. I have had for just over a year and here's a few things that make is so great:
1. The wood is really smooth and saves your skin for the real rocks
2. There is a wide variety of holds including a sloper which the larger version doesn't have
3. It looks awesome hanging above any door.

A classic worth the price

Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed Leather Sandal - Men's

Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed Leather Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2012

I have nothing but great things to say about these sandals. They are comfortable right out of the box and only get batter with age. When I have been wearing work shoes or any uncomfortable footwear for too long I'll just slip these on and after a few minutes my feet start to feel brand new. I have 2 pair and if they ever wear out I will definately buy them again.

Great All around sandal

Chaco Hipthong Two Sandal - Men's

Chaco Hipthong Two Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2012

I picked up a pair of these for around $35 and after wearing them for about 2 weeks loved the some much I got a second pair. These stay on your feet in rivers and lakes unlike any other flip flop but are easier to get on and off than sandals with a backstrap. Like most high quality shoes they do have a break in period but for me that only lasted a few days. If see a good price on these grab them...you won't be sorry.

Nearly Perfect

Yakima HullRaiser w/Tie Downs

Yakima HullRaiser w/Tie Downs

Rating for this product: 4 January 8, 2012

These things are insanely sturdy and keep my yaks secure between home and water. The tie downs that come with the cradles aren't the best so I ended up using some ratchet straps I got from a hardware store.

Sweet Shoe

MSR Evo Ascent Snowshoe

MSR Evo Ascent Snowshoe

Rating for this product: 4 January 8, 2012

I wore these during a trip to RMNP and they did the job. The Televator heel sounded kind of lame, but after using it to get up Flat Top Mtn I can tell you...not lame. It may be nit picky but my only issue with the shoes is that they are kind of loud.

Awesome Fleece

The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's

The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2012

Living in Texas I dont often need more than the Pumori. If the wind picks up or I am traveling to colder climates its ability to zip into a shell makes this a great value. Well done TNF.
