WOW

Nordica Radict Ski

Nordica Radict Ski

Rating for this product: 4 July 23, 2011

I had the belief that my 115 underfoot was about as big a ski as I needed. When the Nordica demo tent had the Radict's out, I figured I'd give 'em a shot, even though we only has about 4" of fresh. They totally changed my perspective. Super fun in the pow, and actually quite nimble for the size. The traditional camber allowed for good carving on the way to the pow, and the stiffness was just right for being able to go fast, but without getting tossed around in the chop. Tried 'em again on a 18" day just to make sure and yep, I loved 'em.

Mammut Togir Light Harness

July 23, 2011

I haven't had an issue with the strength of the loops. I often carry a double rack of cams and they don't show any signs of strain after a year of use

Light and comfortable

Mammut Togir Light Harness

Mammut Togir Light Harness

Rating for this product: 5 July 23, 2011

This is my new favorite harness. Low bulk and light weight makes it easy to pack on longer approaches or for alpine objectives, yet the lack of traditional padding is never missed. The new design makes it very comfortable to wear and hang in. The slide block buckle makes sure you are always doubled back and the ice clipper sleeves are great when hitting the ice. The waist belt is a bit on the large side. I need a large for the legs, but have it tightened all the way down. Nice when wearing lots of clothes though. The gear loops seem to hold plenty of 'biners too.

Great all around pant

Mammut Courmayeur Advanced Softshell Pant - Men's

Mammut Courmayeur Advanced Softshell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 4, 2010

I love my Courmayeur Pant! While not the warmest winter pant out there, the light weight and light color is perfect for spring skiing, mountaineering and climbing. I have used this pant in many conditions in AK, WA, CO and the Alps and continue to love the Schoeller fabric with its water/wind repellency and quick drying nature.

Mammut Laser Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mammut Laser Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 4, 2010

This is the most versatile soft shell jacket I have ever owned. I love the soft, stretchy feel of the Schoeller fabric and the wind/water excellency is excellent. This has become my daily go-to layer for skiing on and off piste as well as for ice climbing.

Great features

Mammut Pulse Barryvox Avalanche Beacon

Mammut Pulse Barryvox Avalanche Beacon

Rating for this product: 5 May 4, 2010

This beacon is hands down the best on the market. As an advanced tool it offers many user settings and features to become "personalized" to each user. While it is more complicated to set up than some others, the new software makes it fast, easy and effective.
