I agree with the above reviewers. It does take a little getting used to, but once you get dialed in, it rocks. I use it in the bumps, hardpack, and pow and only when it is icy do I use my other skis. I had them mounted on a track and enjoy them most mounted a few cm aft of center. Don't get this ski unless you are aggressive and like to ski fast. It doesn't come into its own until 20mph minimum. Just make sure your ski buddies ski fast or you will do a lot of waiting.

This transceiver worked great. I would typically be much faster then other receivers when doing test burials. I only wish my touring partners had the same beacon. It’s very easy to use.
