All in All a great short.

POC Hip VPD Impact Short

POC Hip VPD Impact Short

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I think that it is hard to make a good short that is low profile, non-restrictive, but still gets the job done. I think this is the one. I have taken a couple of falls in them and I have not noticed any discomfort where I might have in the past if I did not have the short. These fit under the short really well. My hood-rat friends have practiced hitting me and it did the job.

Hestra Seth Morrison Pro Glove

Hestra Seth Morrison Pro Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I am snacking on this glove so much lately. I love it. I have owned many other good gloves, (arcteryx and Dakine) but these are the best. I love the ample thumb wipe! Great fit and lots of attention to detail.

Discrete Banger Pom Beanie

Discrete Banger Pom Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I love these simple hats. I sleep in them, ski in them and climb in them at the gym. I own four of them. They are so money that your friends steal them and wont give them back. Juilan Carr has a great thing going here.

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I am in love with Norrona. The pockets are in the perfect place. The pants synch up nicely and hold in place. The fabric seems like it could stop bullets. The cuff are strong and will resist abrasions from your edges. All great stuff.

I really love these pants. warm, nice colors, and tough tough tough. The pockets are in the right place which makes grabbing food or stuffing things in your pants easy. This is my third pair of Norrona Pants and they are so very nice.

Orage Bolton Jacket - Men's

Orage Bolton Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I was not expecting the quality construction that I got at this price point, but I love it. The pit zips with powder guards, a pretty strong powder belt, and lots of pockets make this a great choice. I chose this as my park/jibbing jacket as a substitute for my gore-tex pro shell. Great Job for the money.

Armada TST Ski

Armada TST Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 31, 2012

I ride the Nordica Patrons and the Armada TST and I think that I am going to prefer these over the Patrons. These lighter, stiffer, and hold an edge better than most any ski that I have skied. The non-rockered tails rail and make it quick and nimble. I skied 8" of fresh snow at Snowbird last friday on these and pieced a cliff session and I stuck everything with ease and more confidence than on my Patrons. Again I think that it is the traditional non-rockered tails that makes it easy. These rip on the groomers as well. I am going to throw a pair of MFD alltimes on them and make this my all around bomber ski.

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot - Men's

November 23, 2010

I am 6'2" 180lbs I rode the Krypton II Moro all last season at the Bird. Dalbello makes the best boots on the market in my opinion. The boots are so poppy in pow. I am planning on buying the Kyrpton Pros this season because of the ratchet buckle. I never could get the buckle tight enough for my liking. I had difficulty forcing my shins into the front of the boot because of it. The ratchet is a good idea for snowboards, but you loose customization without a power strap and micro top buckle.

Also, you might consider the Pro if you are stomping big landings. The Moro only comes with one stiff footboard. The Pro comes with an anti-shock and a stiff footboard. I did found that the anti-shock (I bought it separately for the Moro) was not as responsive on hardpack, but it got the job done.
