Rack'em up

Yakima Stick Up Bike Rack

Yakima Stick Up Bike Rack

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2010

I'm pleased with the overall design and functionality of the rack. There is one small thing I would recommend changing:

It would be nice if the mast (part that clamps on top frame of bike) locked in place for both positions (during transport of bikes) and also when it's in (the folded up) position.

As it is, there is a good deal of free travel where the mast can swing forward hitting the back of the vehicle when folded up.

A quick remedy for this is using a bungee cord.

I have a 2006 Ford Escape with factory class two 1 1/4 receiver. Does anyone know of any issues that would give me problems in installing this model on my vehicle? Thanks.
