This is one of the best shells i ever had and i had a lot. all of them "north face" which they did their job but as soon as i got this amazing jacket it changed my mind forever, i became a MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR addict. The parka does everything it says its going to do and more, its waterproof, windproof, great snow skirt, i have to test if its really not bulletproof :D. i use this jacket as a combo with the "Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket" and they work great together, each one does its job perfectly. This jacket is tough but very light material, great roll up hood, same tough material so it doesnt blow off in the wind (not like the cheap roll up nylon that "north face" has) and its positioned perfectly. Fair amount of pockets (water bottle pocket is really cool) but one down side is that to open the hand pocket you need to zip it up instead of down which takes some getting used to.

Over all amazing shell! and it works really well with the "Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket" if you are looking for a good combo then look no further!

I can write a whole new testament on this amazing fleece but ill keep it short and to the point. This is the best mid-layer fleece out there (if there is no wind it could be used as a stand alone jacket). I got this fleece yesterday and had to test it right away. I was wearing a regular "Hanes" short sleeve white-t and this fleece, it was 30*F out on my porch where there is no wind and i was really warm i could feel the heat coming up from the collar, as soon as i stepped out in the wind (15-20mph) all of that warmth went away and i dont blame the fleece because its not windproof and i was wearing only a short sleeve white-t under, so if layered right im sure the fleece could of stood up to that task. I also bought with this fleece the "Mountain Hardwear Exposure II Parka" to use as a combo and its amazing, i put on the parka and it blocked all of the wind (^^^test) and since there was no wind the monkey man did its job perfectly. So like i said before this is the best mid-layer out there, you will not go wrong if you get it and if you dont like it backcountry has the best no questions asked return policy.

The fit is slim (no more baggy armpit area) but could still fit 2 layers under it.

only good things to say about this water bottle, its pretty light weight, its very strong i droped it like 5 times and nothing happened maybe a little scratch but the bottle looks brand new, no BPA!!! so that's about a few more pluses to the count and it come in cool colors (i got mine in red to match my pack).

i love this thing easy to use, light weight, boiled my self 25 oz. of water in my trek 900 with in 5-7 min, its a very handy thing to have. i use the coleman canister well thats the only one that they had in walmart so i took it and it worked very well. im very happy with this stove!

this pot/pan is just amazing works really well, very light, cleans very easy, the top or pan can be used as a 2nd cup which is cool, i actually like the fact that the pot cools down fast and it also cools down your hot water a bit just because you don't have to wait so long to drink it the pot will cool down with in 2-3 min and you can drink it with out burning your self. if you are looking for a solo cook set then look no further.

very good sleeping bag used it in 30* weather i was actually sweating i had to dry myself so i just slept in it with only my underwear :-P. i gave it 4 stars just because its a pain to put it back inside the sack that you get with it, i tried 10 different ways to do it but in the end its all the same you just have to fold it really tight and keep it tight while you put it in the sack. but all around a really good sleeping bag i like it a lot!

Z-Lite, the name says it all, lite and does the job. i got the reg. size one just because i fold the top 2-3 times so it becomes sort of like a pillow.

Lowe Alpine AirZone Centro 35 is the perfect pack!!! let me tell you why:
I needed a pack for a 3day 2night camping/hiking/climbing trip. I originally wanted the lowe alpine crag attack 40 but backcountry was all out so i took a chance and got this pack, I DO NOT! regret getting this pack its very light, you can adjust the pack to your size, it has a rain cover, small on the outside yet big inside, and NO long annoying straps. Ill tell you what i packed so you get the idea of how big it really is inside: I packed, 3 pants, 3 shirts, 2 button downs, 1 swimming shorts, 4 boxers, 4 pairs of socks, 1 big towel, first aid kit, snow peak trek 900 (with stove inside it), hygration pack, some food, rain coat (just in case, even though it was nice out), and a little grooming kit. on the outside i had my water bottle, sleeping bag/pad, tent, and some climbing gear (ropes etc....). This is an all around great pack for any kind of back country you are doing.
