Just started rock climbing, only indoors so far but I'm stoked to get out on some real rock. Figured I'd get some experience before I try to mount a real wall. I love every second my feet leave the ground and every day of the week I'm planning on the next time I'm gonna climb.

Great pair....Buy 'em small.

Five Ten Spire Lace-up Climbing Shoe

Five Ten Spire Lace-up Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2010

I love this shoe, but be wary when buying. I bought a size smaller (US sizes) and already they have stretched to almost a half size to big. Very stretchy shoes (which is expected with an unlined shoe). Luckily, I am still fairly new and won't need technical shoes for a while yet. But other than this shoe is pretty awesome. Fits great, doesn't stain or leave my feet rubbed raw.

Same news, a great bag.

Arc'teryx C80 Chalk Bag

Arc'teryx C80 Chalk Bag

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2010

Can't say much that everyone else hasn't already said. This bag is awesome, holds a great deal of chalk, big hole for dipping either hand (or both if your crazy). Love the slanted hole for easier access. Cinches tight so you don't powder your gear like crazy. Even though it's my first bag, I don't see me straying too far from the Arc'teryx C series any time soon.
