The North Face Bella Alta Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 7, 2010

I live in Hawaii so I'm not used to cold weather at all. This year for vacation we decided to see the Northern Lights in Fairbanks, Alaska and attend a Championship Football game in Birmingham, Alabama. Needless to say I had to purchase all new winter gear and was really nervous that I would freeze the entire time. The Backcountry representative recommended these boots and it was an good choice. In Fairbanks the temp reached -18 and I was able to stay outside on top of the hill for hours and remained comfortable viewing the lights. In Alabama the temp was 30-40 degrees and it rained the entire game but my feet stayed warm, dry, and toasty the whole time. These boots are very good. I got them in my exact size and wore them with thick sock and the fit was perfect. I would have preferred a side zipper but they work anyway. I'll be keeping them for future vacations!
