Are they cargo shorts? Or are they fancy swimming trunks? Who cares! They're the best of both. Light weight fabric, fast drying, comfortable I wore them in Mexico to the swimmig with the whale sharks excursion. Rather than taking shorts and trunks, I just wore these. Very comfy, took a 2 hour cab ride, 4 hour boat ride, snorkeled in them...they performed admirably. Walked all over Playa de Carmen and Cozumel, I would never do that is a swimming suit. They are also perfect for kayaking.
