The North Face Paramount Porter Convertible Pant - Women's

love these pants! I'm a size 3/4 with a 34 inch instep, so finding pants that are long enough is a challenge. A Backcountry gear expert helped me find these pants. I ordered a 4 long and they fit perfectly!!! haven't found a pair of pants that fit me this well in years!! would buy them again in a heart beat.

I am so glad I invested in a grigri! Got it just in time for spring break and made it earn it's keep the first day out on the crag. My climbing partner took a hard lead fall and I couldn't have held her on an ATC b/c i'm alot smaller than her. She ended up spraining her ankle when she fell(gotta love when you miss the first bolt past a ledge...) and the grigri made it very easy to lower her super slowly so she wouldn't hit the bad ankle on her way down.
I still use ATC's for gym climbing since the ropes tend to drag, but I'll never climb out without my grigri. It's a lifesaver(literally) for us light-weight belay slaves. Some of my climbing partners out weight me by 30 or 40lbs, so i know i'll be using it alot!
