Chaco Hipthong Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 29, 2010

great for casual wear when you loosen up the top of the foot straps. ! you will get nothing but compliments when you wear these sandals ! the only down side is they are a little heave your flip flops and when you tighten the top of the foot straps you lose secureness of the flip flop strap but a great sandal

THICK !

Mad Rock HERA Mad Pad Crash Pad

Mad Rock HERA Mad Pad Crash Pad

Rating for this product: 4 June 18, 2010

this thing is 5 inches thick ! thats great when your on the high ball stuff but a little stiff on the landing for anything shorter. the weight is nice and light so its not a hassle if you have a hike on the way to your local bouldering spot. the side straps can convert this pad into a nice chair to sit in while your friends sit in the dirt of on their pad with not back support ! well made and at a great price. this pad will last a long time ! must have for your quiver

Black Diamond Stopper Set #4-13

Black Diamond Stopper Set #4-13

Rating for this product: 5 June 18, 2010

these are the sizes you use the most for passive prot. anything small is used for aid and anything larger you should be using hexes or cams. easy to remove so its not a hassle for your partner to clean the route.

Wild Country Rockcentric Hexes

Wild Country Rockcentric Hexes

Rating for this product: 5 June 18, 2010

the engineering behind these are great. similar to the chouinard design, but with improvements. the dyneema is much better than wire, this allows multiple placements with the contoured surfaces.

Great size

Wild Country Nitro Quick Draw

Wild Country Nitro Quick Draw

Rating for this product: 4 June 17, 2010

the biner is a great size, its not to small and not to large. the weight is great only complaint is the dogbone is a little narrow i know a lot of companies are going with the 10mm width but i feel that the 12mm is far great as it does not twist around as much ! other than that the features on this are great. the wire gate could not be better

Metolius FS Mini Quickdraw

Metolius FS Mini Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 3 June 2, 2010

i think these are too small. it is kind of hard to use this with one hand the weight is nice but it is not worth the hassle imo. i use a 9.8mm rope and still think its too small i think if you can play with these first. its a great idea but does not work for me

Wild Country Astro Quickdraw

Wild Country Astro Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 4 May 9, 2010

nice light quickdraws it has all the right features. the only gripe is it could have the different colored biners but not the biggest deal when there are quickdraws out there with out the rubber piece and dont have bent gates. the only difference from the product to the picture is i ordered the 15cm and my dogbones were black not that big a deal to me just thought i would point that out it may be that the 10cm quickdraws have the red dogbones and the 15cm have the black not sure though

Metolius Inferno Wire-Gate Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 4 May 9, 2010

super strong and light biners, two different colors would be nice on this quickdraw. the lengths are awesome verylittle rope drag with these guys. the rubber piece on the rope end would make this the best quickdraw i own.

Black Diamond FireWire Quickdraw

Black Diamond FireWire Quickdraw

Rating for this product: 4 May 9, 2010

very light quickdraw standard features like a rubber oring on the rope side dynex dogbone. but the only reason i have rated it 4 stars is the rope end of the quickdraw does not have a bent gate. not the biggest deal for most people but i like bent gates on the rope end.

Mammut Mirage Harness

Mammut Mirage Harness

Rating for this product: 4 April 23, 2010

nothing too special about this harness, it is at a good price and is fairly comfortable. it does fit a little larger than i thought. the legs holes are a little harder to adjust than i had wanted. the gear loops are bomb proof. and it has a nice plastic pice for the rope. over all a good harness

Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 23, 2010

this is a great jacket. anyone who lives in the rockies should own one of these. stops the wind and will be warm enough on most days, if not just throw another jacket on top of this and your golden.

Mountain Hardwear Carnic Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Carnic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 23, 2010

using this in the rockies for summer and winter mountaineering and climbing it is great. i love how light this is better than gore-paclite imo. keeps the rain out and dose not condensate as much as goretex. the fit is perfect for a shell. it fits over layers well but is not too baggy

great suspension, it makes climbing in it very easy, though if you are going to be doing vertical climbing i remove the suspension and waist belt. nice amount of features with out overdoing it all. hold the right amount for a long day hick or light overnight. !!! cant go wrong. only down side is a broke a plastic piece that i dont know what it is used for when messing around with it when i first got it. will up load pics later !!

Love the jacket

Mountain Hardwear Dragon Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Dragon Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 24, 2010

This is a great layer it can be an outer layer on a semi cold day with light snow and the water resistant holds up well for a while. as a mid layer it has great breathability and vents like no other, the front pockets are a mesh so when you leave the zipper open it vents well. the hood has a heavy brim to keep the weather off your face. the only complaints i have is the body moves a lot if you dont tighten the waist draw cords where it sits when you raise your arms. other than that it is my fav soft shell !!!

Mountain Hardwear Dragon Softshell Jacket - Men's

March 22, 2010

IT fits the same as the MD windstopper i have both the dragon and windstopper fleece in MD. i usually use the windstopper for a layer system, and when i wore the windstopper fleece under the dragon jacket it did not work well i was too constricted.
