Castelli Logo Bike Glove - Men's

Castelli Logo Bike Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 25, 2008

I love these gloves. The style is great and I get a lot of quality comments. As my friend said "style man would approve." The only watch out (like any road glove), the finger and thumb areas will start to fray and wear out, but those are the hazards of fingerless gloves. the loops work really well for me.

Basic is good.

Oakley Trail Basic Bike Jersey - Men's

Oakley Trail Basic Bike Jersey - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 August 25, 2008

Solid basic jersey from Oakley. Don't really need the back zippered pocket for downhilling, but it's a nice thought. The jersey is a bit heavy but I hope that means it is durable. The price, $60, is a bit steep. But overall good style, looks and performance.

Giro Bad Lieutenant Helmet

Giro Bad Lieutenant Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 September 26, 2005

Good helmet. Stylie, but a bit heavy. I had no problem with the venting, but you think Giro could have added some of that nice light technology that they have for their other helmets (bike, snow) in this one too.

Great ski pack

DAKINE Heli-Pro Backpack - 1000-1200 cu in

DAKINE Heli-Pro Backpack - 1000-1200 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2005

Got this pack on the recommendation of a few people. Got the large size. Originally was looking at the Pro 2 or the Poacher, but this pack served up all of my needs for day skiing and in and out of bounds. Perfect spots for everything and enough space for an extra layer, a bunch of lunches, extra goggles, sunglasses, lip balm, camera, etc.

Haven't had a chance to use the snowboard straps... I would say if you were a hardcore snowboarder I would go with the Pro 2 or something with a more dedicated vertical carry system. But so far it rocks... and also works well as a daypack.
