I just got back from a canyoneering trip down waterholes canyon in Arizona. I had a 4 liter bag packed basically on the outside of my pack because I had an inflatable kayak on the inside. My backpack was torn up by the time I got to the bottom of the canyon and hole were ripped through the backpack exposing the bag. The bag was never punctured even though it was being drug through the canyon. This is a very very very durable bag

Osprey Packs Argon 85 Backpack - 5100-5500cu in

August 15, 2010

It is completely possible to do this. I have the medium sized pack except I have a small waist belt. You might try going to your local osprey dealer and ask them if they have any in stock. I'm not sure but I think they cost around 30 dollars, don't quote me on that but its probably close to that. If not I'm sure they can order one.

This backpack is amazing!!!! I haven't been able to use it on a really long backpacking trip yet but I've had about 30 pounds or so in it for an overnighter and it held the weight perfectly. I can't wait to use it for an extended backpacking trip. I'm very confident in its ability to hold a weeks worth of supply in it especially if you pack it right. I upgraded to the better waist belt and it works great. It has extra padding and is really comfortable. This holds weight perfectly. It is completely balanced on your back and transfers to your waist and chest and shoulder straps evenly. This pack is completely amazing.

K2 Extreme Alpine Ski

August 15, 2010

Alright so I'm looking to spend a good amount of time in moguls, in the trees and wanting to do a lot of hike to terrain this winter. are these a good ski to do that with. I have another old school ski that will only do groomers and only groomers so I'm not to worried about these skis needing to fill that niche. I'm also wondering on what size I should get. I'm 5' 10" or 5'11" but right now I only weigh 145 but I'm going to try and gain at least ten pounds by january ( 5 months from now) what size should I get? I am an agressive skier. I ski all blacks and double blacks. I was thinking the 169's
