THESE ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING FOR DIFFERENT USES DUE TO THE ADJUSTABLE LENGTH. THESE BABIES ARE LIGHT AND HARDY. THEY HAVE A GRIP SECTION 3/4 OF THE WAY UP FOR EASY HANDLING ( NICE TOUCH ). MY ONLY GRIPE IS ONE OF MY BASKETS WOULD NOT STAY ON AND I HAD TO SUPER GLUE IT PERMANENTLY. THE WAY THAT THEY HAVE ENGINEERED THIS IS WEAK. OTHERWISE, I LOVE THESE POLES !

I GOT THESE FOR MY WIFE FOR GENERAL BACKCOUNTRY USE, TELEMARK AND TOURING. THIS SKI DOES IT ALL. DON'T EXPECT IT TO TRACK LIKE A TRACK SKI THOUGH IT DOES A GOOD JOB. SHE LOVES THE SKI ( 169 CM ) AND HAS MOUNTED VOILE 3-PIN WITH ROSSIGNOL'S TOP BACKCOUNTRY BOOT X-11. THESE TURN VERY WELL AND FLOAT IN MODERATELY DEEP POWDER WELL. SKIS ARE LIGHT AS WELL. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CROSS COUNTRY SKI THAT CAN BREAK TRAIL IN THE BACKCOUNTRY, ALLOW YOU TO TELEMARK AND UTILIZE GROOMED TRAILS THIS IS IT. AWESOME SKIS !

MY WIFE AND I ARE USING THE VOILE 3-PIN WITH CABLE AND RELEASE SYSTEM; ALSO WE USE THE BEEFY ROSSIGNOL BACKCOUNTRY BOOT AND THE EXCURSION BOOT BY GARMONT. AWESOME WITH EITHER BOOT.
