Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 13, 2011

I'm impressed.

Seems to be an well built technical shell. I have used this for 9 tours now, with temps ranging from -5 to -25 Celsius. This jacket provides almost no warmth on it's own but that is what I'm looking for in a shell. The wind stopping power is good and the breathability seems quite good. The pit zips could be bigger and the powder skirt is one size (2 buttons) only but those are fairly minor complaints. The material seems flimsy but I have assaulted it several times with my ski edges while carrying them on my pack and so far no damage whatsoever.

As for sizing I am 6'0" 190 lbs and the Large fits well with plenty of room for layering.

Hey does anyone have this as a ski touring jacket? How does it work and does it have a powder skirt?

Thanks
