Heavy and difficult

Comfortable enough but...

Petzl Corax Harness - Men's

I have the 2008 harness which looks about the same. It is a fine harness, it's definitely comfortable enough for normal climbing but I still wouldn't want to hang in it for a long time, though no harness really fits that bill. My biggest beef with it is that the gear loops are sleek and low profile which is fine except when you want to clip or unclip things to or from them, in which case it's less than convenient. It would also be nice if it had a full strength haul loop.

I have the 09/10 version and normally rocks just leave gashes in my skis but I just got a core shot that caused the bases to protrude jaggedly downward. Has anybody else experienced bizarre folding of the ski bases after hitting rocks?
