Suunto Ambit HR Altimeter Watch
May 21, 2012
The barometric pressure sensor is on the top center of the back of the Ambit. I have been using the Ambit of over another month and have had spot on accuracy with the baro/altitude reading and the GPS. Way more accurate than the Vector. The Ambit is the way to go if you want speed-distance-alitude and a TON of other info.

Suunto t6c Heart Rate Monitor
April 13, 2010
Yes....I have used both models and find the T6C superior to the T6. It is a bummer not having the barometric reading on the T6C; however the watch does use a barameter to calculate elevation. Being made in China has had no impact on the quality of the watch....The T6C has the same quality production as the watches they make in Finland. The T6C is great to gather information such as: HR, Avg HR, Altitude(ascent and descent), EPOC, TE (training effect) and many other pieces of information. The T6C can be paired with the Suunto foot pod, GOS Pod, Bike Pod and Cadence Pod. The watch also sincs with you computer to track and log workouts.
