The North Face Atlas Triclimate Jacket - Men's

January 15, 2010

I think these run true to size. Might want to go in a store and try it on before ordering. These jackets are made fitted, so trying to compensate for the tightness of the arm pit area with a bigger size will only lead to bagginess in other areas (waist for example). This jacket was almost perfect, almost, but the constricted arm pit area is its biggest downfall. You can try and forget it about, but at $230, the ordeal is always floating in my head. I'm looking to exchange for the Condor, but that one also features a zip pit.

The North Face Atlas Triclimate Jacket - Men's

Watch out for the arm pit area! I don't know what TNF was thinking with this design. The armpit area was the first thing I noticed in discomfort. This is area constricting with your arms relaxed, you can fell the zip pits pressure up against your biceps.
