Great bags. Yeah, they're not as hip as some, but they're solid, well-designed, and reasonably priced. But, be warned, if you're like me and fancifully imagine that the L just isn't quite doing it, the XL is stunningly XL. Just short of a body bag. Can't imagine using it on a regular basis. But if you need to haul, say, several watermelons, a case of beer, and a side of beef, this is your bag. Provided you can wobble home with it all.

GoLite TraveLite Convertible Carry On - 240cu in

A completely bomber carry-on. Light but rugged, brilliantly designed, and amazingly capacious for its size. Along with a messenger bag for my laptop and work-related dreck, it's packed everything I need for a week of travel. Think I may ditch the old messenger bag, though, and get the wheeled version as well, for a complete coverage duo. GoLite's got it wired.
