I bought these while at the mountain because silly me, l forgot my cold weather mittens and didn't want to spend a small fortune. Without a doubt, these are great. They're true to size, l had plenty of dexterity and they kept my hands very very warm! All together I'd say it was a very good purchase!

l've had my apex jacket for years and l've never really appreciated how well built it was until l really thought about how much l've put it through. The fabric is bombproof in the sense that mine looks as goos as new and its been through hell and back, definitely a good buy!

I was looking for something to wear when l go out climbing that would fully cover my ears and also something that would fit under my helmet without being to awkward, and this was my answer! Fits under all of my helmets comfortably and has the distinctive nut on the front to represent your favorite brand! They're so cheap l might buy another one!

I work as a fulltime firefighter and this comes in handy ALL the time. Its nice not having to run back and forth sometimes for stuff when you're in a building or working on something on the fly, it never ever lets me down. This is my third Leatherman, I use my juice for when l'm climbing and camping, and my old mini tool is still going strong, but this badboy is just a workhorse. Don't settle with a fake, this is the way to go!

I got rid of all my other daypacks and messengers with the exception of one! I never liked biking with a messenger bag, and what I like most about this pack is that it has no sternum or waist straps, because it doesn't need them! Its so ergonomic to the point where even the shoulder straps are super thin and the bag hugs you the entire time but can hold everything you need. I haven't had the front pocket fly open on me, but common sense, I'm not going to stash a diamond bracelet or something else pricey in it. Overall, a pretty awesome bag to kick it with!

just picked these things up, and got an amazing deal on them, so l said, why not? these are pretty good pants! good range of motion which l like for when its friggen too cold for shorts while climbing, and they have a little bit of weight to them which l also like. the one thing l'm not a huge fan of is the button snap thing on the front, but whatever, its a small thing I can oversee!

When I found this after losing it for a very long time. Not to say that I don't like my other lights, this one is by far my favorite do it all light. Good range, lights an area very well, and it weighs so little but lasts so long! Tears I tell you, I shed tears for this thing

I've been a long time Thule fan, never have had any sort of issue with them, and have been a user of the old Aero Feet, and then when l bought my new car, I had to upgrade to this never system! Holy Moley so much easier to install and adjust, and a nice and clean design that can't be beat! I love it, and I'm sure it will last for years to come!

hands down, best roof mount bike rack on the market. read above,I'm not going to repeat it, but its awesome, I own a carbon fiber race bike and feel very comfortable throwing it on my roof!

When I go on the river I never forget this hat, perfect for keeping the sun off my neck and hell, its a great conversation piece! I really think that anyone who is comfortable with themselves should own one if they kayak, suhch a good deal!

Before buying this, I bought a generic cheap-o two piece paddle to scoot around small lakes for 45 minute bouts, but since buying a much larger touring kayak, I wanted something with a little more oomph, but didn't want to spend a small fortune right away on a carbon paddle if I didn't like it. Well let me tell you, I'll be saving up for the carbon version and making this my spare! My speed has drastically improved with less effort, and I'm able to enjoy my paddle more and stay out longer and go farther with this thing! This is durable and I just love everything about it!

This thing is awesome! you can wear it alone or use it as a layering piece, but damn is it warm! When l first got it, l was a little skeptical, but after a chilly mid-morning bouldering session, l was very happy to own this! and the color? awesome!

I own a couple of these things for when l go riding, but l aso use them for day hikes! love the valve and keeps my drink in my bottle till l need it! a must have!

Highly reccomended chalk for climbing. does exactly what its intended for. I mean, what else is there to say about chalk? I dip my hands into my bag and they stay nice and dry for routes with this stuff!

Unless you happen to be a villan from Captain Planet, you should probably have one of these. Nice to have a product to help me help the planet!

so l bought this jacket for the reason that l wanted a Gore Tex shell that was nice and light for summer backpacking and climbing, because l love my other shells but wanted to try out the Paclite! Well, this thing is awesome! Its stupid light, like, l thought this was the conduit Silk system when l first picked it up, but don't be fooled! This stuff is great, and if you can deal with the crinkle factor, which l don't mind at all, GET THIS COAT, a Humerous picture is to follow!

If you have a Thule roof rack, this is a must have. I own a VW GTI and when l didn't have one of these, my rack would whistle and my gas would run out way faster than usual. With this puppy, no more noise, and l have a place to show off all my awesome sticker l acquire in my travels! Beware however, l have a the aerobars, and overtime the clips are breaking off :( l ordered a new set of them to replace mine, because this thing is raddd

Just got these badboys in the mail, and theyre simply awesome. This is my fourth pair of oakleys, and l like that they hug your face but don't look so small, and that theyre badass!
Seriously, get your blues bros. DVD out and get these things!

Simple, easy to use, l like to use them to train and to warm up in the morning. l can't always drive up to the gym or to a nice bouldering spot, so these things are a godsend :)

I bought this thing after falling in love with it, and when l got it, l fell in love even more! l don't like adjustable hats, and the flex fit style is definatey for me. Its not something for outdoor stuff, but this is a nice stylish hat for being around town.

I'm 22, l've been rocking these puppies, (the same pair) since l was 13. Seriously. Probably the most comfortable shoe l own, and l've beaten the piss out of these things....l can't tell you how many miles l've logged in mine, but they've been through EVERYTHING, they've been branded, through New England winters, and l'm positive they're going to be going for much longer, and when they're done, I'll definately be buying another pair :)

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and so far its standing up to the wonderful New England weather very well! It adds that extra bit of Ompfh to my base layers, and l'm sure that come winter time this will find its way up many a mountain with me! First of hopefully many patagonia products!

Love these things! They're super comfortable and l don't get overheated when hiking, and have full range of movement when l climb. Not to mention they make my backside look nice! In my old age off 22 l need everything l can get!

As much as I love going on a hike and seeing chalk marks on problems and going "hell yeah!" I can see why some people don't like them, so this set is awesome! I don't use a bag for mine, so l drilled a hole in the bottom of each one and put a piece of assesory cord through them. Keeps them together and makes you look hiphoppapotamous! Come on people! clean your rock! and your friend's rock with this awesome brush set!

Tip: Take a drill and put holes in the brushes, then run some accessory cord through them, makes it easier to keep track of the damn things.

We use this when we go top roping at our local rock and it performs awesome! you can attach multiple caribiners to it which adds comfort to me setting up and its bombproof as far as l can see. its a good company and a good product.

I use this badboy when l decide to not take my jetboil out, and it does exactly what its supposed to do. its a little heavy but for the price, it cleans well, cooks well, looks nice, and l wanna get a bigger one! I would even go as far as using this thing in my house!

Love this thing! A nice heavyweight but stylish jacket that you can't live without! Seriously folks, its wool, which is awesome... wool l say! buy it and you won't regret it!!

I switched to this helmet last year in attempt to save my skull for the inevitability of me falling on my face when I go riding, and this thing is great. It breathes well, looks nice (it has a brim, thats classy stuff!) and holds up to whatever I throw at it. I say, bring it on icy trails in need of grooming! I'm afraid but my helmet? is not ;)

Seriously, res ipsa loquitor on this badboy. Easy to open and close, you decide on the size you want (so no complaining about the size!!!) The backpack straps are amazing and make a world of difference, and the materials are bulletproof! Never have had a problem, and hopefully never will! This is one of those things you need to have if you like having nice things.

I'm going to be honest, for the price, this pad is very nice! its not so large that you feel like you're going to be consumed by the thing but not so small that you feel like you're falling onto a target when you fall. Plenty of ground coverage and plenty of padding when you do...ya know. plus the suitcase handle it nice when you are moving from problem to problem. If you wanna be thrifty sans some bruising from falling, this is the pad!

iAfter trying on several brands of harnesses, This one came out as my favorite,I'm a big fan of how comfortable this is and the ability to use it in a multitude of situations. Its nice having four loops for your swag and its also nice knowing that you can perform to your fullest without your equipment holding you back! A quality product for the serious climber!

This helmet is great in terms of performance and price. I don't feel like I need to take out a loan for it and I still feel protected WHILE not looking like a dweeb. What next? Liquid soap???

Love this thing! it does everything I need it to do at a price that doesn't make me cry! Used it as a replacement to my last old school platy and its been working out great! I also dig the fact that you don't need to use the hose if you don't want to, you can just cap it off and it makes a great resvior! As Peter Griffin once said, Come on.... Come onnnn!

Honestly this is by far my favorite light, I have a higher end Petzl and a Mammut X-zoom, and don't get me wrong, they both kick ass, but in terms of weight and ease of use, lets face it, I don't always need a huge fancy light to..light the way! Plenty bright for around camp at night and where I don't really hike at night, this works fine! Nice and light, nice and simple, and the colours make me giddy!

This thing is great! Great to wear on those chilly mornings hiking to your bouldering spot of wearing as a layer. I love the fuzzyness of this thing and the looks it gets in the sea of north face wearing people. It makes you unique, and to be honest, think its a little warmer. Sure you look a little like a muppet, but wear it, Jim Henson would be proud!

The Old Lady loves this thing, it keeps you warm and saves marriages! I can't actually back that claim but come on man, the thing is soft.

I picked this bad boy up a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it. I have a big head, like, not big enough for children to stare but lets face it, its not small, and as much as I dig my other beanies, sometimes I like when the lobes of my ears are well covered. super warm, a high quality brand, and I love following my friends around in public with this thing making funny faces. They don't so much.

I use mine for hauling my climbing gear around or maybe the occasional overnighter where the McMonster packs l have in my closet aren't needed. In a backpacking sense, it carries just about everything I need if I intend on going light and fast, but l'm a bigger fan of a bigger pack for anything more than a weekend. For climbing though, this thing is rad and carries everything! Oh yeah, its also comfortable and its hydration bladder compatible, but then again, what isn't these days?

Won this thing as a prize in a magazine, love the features and its durable as hell!When you rappel though don't use the grooves, no bueno, but other than that its like the multi tool of belay devices!

This thing is really nice when you don't have alot of gear to carry, I like it alot when hitting the rock and I can carry my harness, shoes, all my little doo-dads and my SLR camera. What more can you ask for? It ain't huge, but you knew that getting into it!

its pretty simple, holds my rope just fine, and its pretty durable. I didn't need some fancy bag, just something to... hold my rope! and I like the shoulder strap when it comes time to pass the damn thing to the lazy guy not carrying anything

I just bought this thing, and the only thing that I've been getting is compliments! Its so comfortable and the cut is great, and the buttons aren't a huge pain in the ass. Fits me great and there are no complaints on this end. Just do it, you'll feel like a lumberjack without feeling like... a lumberjack

I just bought this, so I can't testify to the masses how it holds up, but based on having several Gore-Tex products, I have full faith that this product kicks ass when the going gets tough. Its much lighter than My Gore Tex XCR shell, and can't wait to throw it on while going up Washington this winter. I'm a firm believer in Gore Tex and TNF so if you don't decide to go to the store and buy it, rest assured that you won't be upset about buying this! Oh and its neat that the Logo isn't plastered on the chest, no offense but sometimes its fun to be a little different than all my other TNF toting Comrades!

ohhhhh yeah! I've had mine for the longest time and its never let me down! Its so comfy, and though l don't reccomend taking this on the big backpacking trip, this is awesome for car camping with the boyscouts and that midday nap in camp.

I have a few rain shells, and this is my lightest (and favorite) to take out on warmer trips. I'm a huge Gore-tex Nazi, but come on, we don't always need the hardcore shell. This packs into nothing and has a great fit. love it!

So I gave this light a four outta five because its awesome. Not only do l use it backpacking, l use it all the time around the house at night and coming down off the path at night after a nice day of climbing. This thing puts out a ton of light, and yeah its big and can be uncomfortable, so what? You know that this monolith is going not not feel so great, but its like the SUV of lights! My only gripe is that my light has be flickering and it has something to do with a connection in the battery pack, but that could just be my luck and not an actual mass issue. If you wanna feel like a brazilian coal miner, this is the way to go!

update: l took the batteries out and put them back in, and it seemed to do the trick! its perfect for whatever you throw at it!

for the price, you definately can't go wrong. light enough for all the ounce counters out there without making you feel like something out of the Chronicles of Riddick... but I digress. Good lamp, great price, great brand, you honestly can't go wrong!

Good for what it does! As much as I like wearing a hood, I'm also a huge fan or being able to hear things, so this hat makes life so much easier. It's a little shallow for my head, and wish that it came in a deeper size, but love having that extra bit of protection when stuff gets wet out there

I've owned a ton of Therm-a-rest products and this has to be one of my favorites. As much as l like my self-inflating wonder pads l like knowing l'm comfortable and don't have to worry about rolling junk up in the morning when I just wanna get going. I really dig the accordian style folding, but I would reccomend a thicker pad for the winter, unless uncomfortable is your thing!

I used to fly solo, but with my girlfriend now wanting to come with me, the ability to cook more is nice!

you wanna use the Jet Boil pot. Makes me feel a little more comfortable cooking with the pot and like the option of using my MSR cookware! Definately a good idea!

So where l work (one of my jobs anyways) my boss doesn't believe in stoves, and this thing looked badass. I loved it up until a gust of wind friggen melted part of it so it wouldn't fit back into the cup! l was beyond pissed, but the customer service was awesome and its being fixed now! Can't beat that!

My new Jetboil came in the mail, free of charge, its only the original, but hey whatever! Still awesome quality and you can't beat it!

I like this tent so much that l made up a word to describe it. It's my first Marmot product ever and l have to say l'm super impressed by its design and how it performs. It's a bit of a bummer that it only has one door on it, but as long as your potential compadre doesn't mind you climbing over them in the middle of the night, you should be good. If your partner in crime does have a problem with this, consider couple's counseling?

I'm a huge North Face fan...like nobody's business, but l always try to not let my bias for gear cloud my review, but l gotta say that this jacket is excellent. l'm always outside, and l like my technical shell with my Denali zipped in, but this jacket is boss because l love down jackets, but always am a little scared about getting them wet and having the thing be useless, but l like how TNF incorperated the Hyvent system into this, which makes me feel happy when the going gets tough, and come on, it has a fur lined hood! A very practical jacket for that wonderfully horrible New England winter days. It's like your own little slice of florida! (Minus the Bannana Hammocks. )

I used to be a big fan of the external frame pack, but once l was able to afford one of these bad boys l jumped on it and its my go-to-bag for just about everything. although l wish there was a separate compartment for my sleeping bag in the bottom, l have since then gotten over it and love how much space this thing has! Don't get me wrong, l like my other bags but this thing is....friggen awesome.
