Decent shoe

Five Ten Anasazi VCS V2 Climbing Shoe - Men's

Five Ten Anasazi VCS V2 Climbing Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 14, 2010

I bought these as an alternative pair to my pair of Acopa B3 shoes. In comparison, the rubber is not as good and the fit is also not as good. I wear an 8.5 in Acopa and these shoes in 8.5 feel half a size small.

The heel box is very loose no matter how tight you strap your feet in, while the toe box is very tight.

Overall it's a good shoe.

Great gloves

Hestra Heli Glove

Hestra Heli Glove

Rating for this product: 4 February 4, 2010

I measured my hand according to Hestra's sizing guide and chose a size of 9.0. It turns out that they are a bit long in the fingers although after being out in the cold i'm glad for it as they keep my hands warm all day. The leather got very dry after my first day in the rain so I used the supplied leather balm to soften them up again. I'll continue to use leather balm as the manual suggests. My only gripe is that the tab on the closure at the wrist broke off after I pulled it. It slipped out of my hand and snapped back against another piece of plastic on the glove and shattered into a million pieces. Be careful with the plastic.
