The Sabre is a softshell, the fabric will stretch with your movement. The Theta is a harshell and will not stretch. The Sabre also has a powder skirt, where as the Theta does not. Both shells use Goretex so in theory they will have the same waterproofing capabilities.

The Aleutian is 8" x 17" stuffed. I would go with the 15L.

Hey Doug, look at the side wall of your tire, it will show the diameter as well as the width. Such as 225/65/16. The 225 is the width of the tire. The 65 is the height of the sidewall, and the 16" is the size of the tire.
Once you have determined these dimensions, look at the "Size Chart" under the "Select Options".

The Bora is going to be water resistant to a light rain. If you're worried about your down bag getting wet, I would suggest two things.
1. Get a waterproof suppression sack for your sleeping bag.
2. Look at the Arcteryx Naos 85, it is a waterproof 85 liter backpack.

If you plan on layering, I would suggest the medium. It might be a bit long on the arms. I'm 6'0, 135 and I wear a small in the Beta.

Hey Mika, I'm 6'0, 135, a 30" waist and a 20" torso and I went with a medium. It fit great in the arms and torso length. It was a tad bit baggy in the width of the torso region, but as expected. But as a layering piece it wasn't too bulky and I could wear a sweater underneath if needed as well.

Technical mountaineering gear rarely uses zip in compatibility, if the wind and moisture were to pass through the shells zipper, it would go straight on to your baselayer or body. Rather than having a second layer, as in this case the Atom(Which has a DWR coating) to block the weather.
For sizing purposes, I am 6'0 135lbs, I wear a medium Atom SV, and I wear a small Alpha SV.

This isn't waterproof, but it is water resistant. It has a 10K water resistance rating which is good for a light rain, or snow. But continuous rain or water will eventually pass through the fabric.
