Great Skis for the Steep & Deep

K2 Anti Piste Telemark Ski

K2 Anti Piste Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 4 January 31, 2006

I am riding on 188cm and the first few months of this season has been great using them. Nothing compares when you hitting the freshies after a big dump. They hold their own on the packed powder as well.

This is a Backcountry basic! You need every advantage you can get when a slide starts. I hope that I’ll never need to put it to use.

I ride an alpine snowboard when there are no freshies to be had and these gloves really protect your wrist and let you open up the throttle.

Pro-tec IPS Hip Pads

Pro-tec IPS Hip Pads

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2005

Awesome crash pads. The mesh shorts breathe well for all temperature ranges. The foam padding is the best that I have seen and really saves your tail.

Be careful when pulling on as the waistband is attached to light mess material and can rip easily if you pull too hard. There are loops to grasp when putting them on. Manufacturer should think of anchoring these into the pads and not the mesh to improve durability mesh short fabric.

Palmer Power Link System Standard Lifters

Palmer Power Link System Standard Lifters

Rating for this product: 5 January 20, 2005

The lifter system makes a huge difference for any freeride board, especially for people riding lengths over 165. This system provides the smoothness and responsiveness of any alpine board. Great for on piste as well as off-piste riding.
