Not for users with long hair

Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp

I have 2 of these. I use them for camping and working on my car at night and everything in between. They work great and have good battery life. However, if you have long hair, it can get sucked into the spool and it won't come out. Scissors required. So yeah, the package and performance is great. It's nice to be able to throw it in your pocket w/o having a bulky strap, but wear a hat.

Really, really warm. You feel your hands sweat the instant you put them on if you're indoors. Can't wait to try them in deserving weather.

Solid

Stoic Luft Down Sweater - Men's

Stoic Luft Down Sweater - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2011

Great around camp. It is my go to piece early in the morning. Packs very small and makes a great bring along for backcountry activities as it takes up little pack space.
The fit is trim but if you're lanky, it's great.

Huge, but awesome

Mountain Hardwear Expedition Duffel Bag - 3000 - 8000cu in

Mountain Hardwear Expedition Duffel Bag - 3000 - 8000cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 3, 2011

It's massive. If you fill it, you better not have to carry it more than 20ft. It gets heavy. Very water resistant. Great if you throw your bag in the back of pickups in the NW.
The construction is solid. Despite being made in China from PVC material (not the greenest construction), I figure that's offset by the notion that it will last a very long time.

CamelBak Shredbak Hydration Pack Vest - Men's

CamelBak Shredbak Hydration Pack Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 1, 2010

Not worth retail, but a very nice product. The vest detaches and is a nice windproof product on it's own. Also works well for road biking and DH riding. The bladder can be worn without the vest under your jersey. The bladder and weight are unnoticeable on the road bike. Very nice.
Yes, the tube is too long. This takes 3min and a razor knife to fix.
