My every day ski

Liberty Hazmat Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2009

Ok - this is my every day ski. I just wrote a review of the Double Helix, which is killer, but I don't own them. What I really want is these Hazmats (I ski on the 181) and the double helix. What I like about the Hazmat is that I can take them in the park, and they are every bit as good as a pure pipe ski, but they aren't as floppy - I can also ski through crud at a *ahem* high rate of speed, with stability. One of my knees is shot, but I can ski all day (and then some) with these. One of the guys in Breck told me that it was becuse of the bamboo core - whatever the reason these are the real deal - now if only I could get these AND the DH. Maybe santa will through some down my chimney. If I had a chimney that is.

Best skis ever - really - can you lend me $700?

Liberty Double Helix Ski

Liberty Double Helix Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2009

Unquestionably the best skis I have ever ridden. There is only one problem with these skis - I don't own them. I took my buddy's skis out and they are killer. I half thought about telling him that they were stolen, but I'm not really a douche like that. Anyway, when I can sponge $700 off of someone or when my boss gets around to giving me a xmas bonus (are you reading this Karl?) I will buy these babies. Abso-freakin-lutely great in the pow, but also ripping in the groomers. A few years ago these would be super fat, but now they're just slightly wide, but even ok for every day.
