Well rounded fat ski

Armada ARV Series Alpine Ski

Armada ARV Series Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 13, 2006

This ski is sick! I mounted up the 05/06 185cm ARV's early this season, and have had many epic days in the pow hucking cliffs with these. The soft, but snappy, flex allows for some excellent float in the deep pow, and very fun cruising and carving for the groomers. This ski is also sweet in the park of course! it has tons of pop and is very light. Spinning huge in the park is made easy with these sticks. Great all around ski!

Great TGR flick

Teton Gravity Research Tangerine Dream DVD

Teton Gravity Research Tangerine Dream DVD

Rating for this product: 4 November 14, 2005

If you liked Soul Purpose, you will really enjoy Tangerine Dream from TGR. It features tons of big mountain skiing, and deep pow, as you would expect from a TGR movie. The soundtrack is solid, and so are the segments. Nobis and Sage kill it again, and seeing Peter Olenick go to the big mountain scene is sweet. Not for jibbers.

Excellent

Smith Triad Regulator Spherical Series Goggles

Smith Triad Regulator Spherical Series Goggles

Rating for this product: 5 October 24, 2005

These goggles have a smaller/medium face fit, and feel great for me. They fit with my Giro helmet perfectly, and the platinum mirror lens works great. I also have some Oakley Wisdom's, I'll still use the high intensity lens on that for the snowy/foggy days, but the Triad is definitely more comfortable with a helmet, and fits a smaller face better.

These gloves have a very nice fit. Grippy and perfect for doing grabs in the park. They keep your hands warm in moderate temps, and good look too.

The best all around ski

K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski

K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 21, 2005

What many people overlook about the Public's is the performance it brings to the all-mountain scene. Alot of talented park skiers love riding on these for rails, pipe, and jumps of course, and they are great for it. The best part about these twins is that they are stiffer than all those other park twins, by far. This gives you strength a ski needs to be a legitimate all-mountain ski for groomers, bumps, and all over your resort. I am 6'2" , 185. I ride the 179cm mounted at +3, and they float well in pow, are great in bumps, and tear up the park. Believe what you have heard about these sticks, and go get some for yourself!

Warm and functional

686 Duo Down Jacket - Men's

686 Duo Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 20, 2004

This jacket is extremely warm! It is a good thing there are some serious vents you can open up, because this jacket will keep you nice and toasty even when wearing a single layer underneath in colder skiing conditions. It is extremely comfortable, and feels great while you ski/board or are just walking about in the cold. Fits me perfectly, with some flexibility, and doesn't restrict movement. This jacket is also extremely functional, with a sweet pass pocket on the wrist, ipod pocket, and more. A joy to wear.

good for your hands

DAKINE Bronco GT Glove

DAKINE Bronco GT Glove

Rating for this product: 4 December 20, 2004

This glove likes to be used. It wants action. Fits great, solid feel, perfect flexibility and movement, and excellent for pulling those grabs. You can remove this glove with no hassle. If your fingers get cold easily, then this glove is probably not for you in the winter. It is not the warmest if you are dealing with temps below 15 degrees. Kept my hands nice and toasty in the 20+ range though. A very well rounded, functioning glove.

Big and Protective

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

Rating for this product: 5 December 20, 2004

This double bag has plenty of room for two skis and a separate compartment for your poles, and whatever else you would like to throw in there. The padding is great, and the straps you tie your skis down with seem very durable and tough. They really lock your skis down in place. The wheels make it easy to carry around the weight as well. My skis are well protected when I travel.

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Long Sleeve Crew - Men's

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Long Sleeve Crew - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 13, 2004

This was my first piece of layering from Icebreakers, and after using it for a few days on the slopes, I have been overly impressed with its warmth, odor resistance, comfort, and flexibility. This is quality stuff. I am definitely encouraged to buy more.
